The Kindness of Small City

It's almost 3 months I'm in China, in a small city near Beijing; called Shijiazhuang.
For me, who didn't really like the rush and crowds of big city like Shanghai or Beijing itself, this city is a perfect place for me. I almost didn't complain at all.
Friends and teachers are kind, classes are good, not really, just sometimes boring, but well duh its normal to be like that.

And it's autumn already! The trees already turn to yellow and starts to fall down, it's pretty, and chilly, and sometimes really cold.

But my first autumn is not that bad, I kinda liking it. I bought boxes of Tea Bags which I can enjoy in this chilly season, and until winter I think.

AND

I just celebrated my 23th birthday last sunday. That day was actually pretty normal, but I am grateful, for all the things I experienced until this far, all my prays and anxieties are paid of slowly, so for everyone, be patient, I know things are hard for now, but keep believing and trying, you'll find your way someday somehow.
Last sunday I went to the laundry room, it was raining, cold, but lovely. While waiting, I went out to take some autumn rain pictures.

At night, I got a birthday surprise from my favorite Indon kids!! Thank you very much! Shijiazhuang will never taste like Indonesia without you all.

And the next day, I got another birthday surprise from my classmates! I teared up a little bit actually :') Thank you for celebrating this little 安娜's birthday :')

I felt really blessed and happy this week. I thank all of you for being kind with me, meeting you all is such a blessing, really.

Oh and we celebrate another birthday in class, we prepared everything since morning, the fun thing is, THE BIRTHDAY GIRL ALMOST DIDN'T COME TO CLASS, we even already record a video with us blowing the candle and cutting the cake for her, when we almost send it to her, suddenly she contacted our teacher that she just woke up and will come to class LOL, we panicked, but luckily we haven't cut the cake, the cake is still looks presentable when we gave it to her lol

I have a midterm exams next week, huft, wish me luck!
Stay warm and stay happy!

ps: I tried some beanies yesterday, huhu, should I buy one?
